Carpa Healthcare becomes a member of United Nations Global Compact

Carpa Healthcare Limited is glad to announce its membership of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest sustainability initiative under United Nations. It guides companies and organizations to align their operations and business strategies with the Ten UN Global Compact Principles, in the aspects of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. It encourages companies to integrate the Ten Principles into corporate business strategy, culture and daily operations, therefore contributing to United Nations goals, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals.

Carpa Healthcare Limited joins more than 20,000 companies and 3,800 non-business participants who have similarly embraced the commitments of the UN Global Compact.

With this communication, Carpa Healthcare expresses its commitment to making the UN Global Compact and its principles part of its strategy, culture and day-to-day operations, and to engage in collaborative projects which advance the broader development goals of the United Nations, particularly the Sustainable Development Goals.

Carpa Healthcare recognizes that a key requirement for participation in the UN Global Compact is the annual submission of a Communication on Progress (CoP) that describes the company’s efforts to implement the Ten Principles.

The participation as a signatory in the UN Global Compact complements Carpa Healthcare’s commitments and initiatives in the area of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG), in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
