These layers comprise of the top layer, transfer layer, absorbent core, adhesive, bottom layer, and release paper. This layered approach ensures consistent performance while keeping the product practical and affordable for everyday use..
- Top Layer: Perforated Polypropylene (PP) Sheet
The top layer is the part that stays in direct contact with the skin and has the following features.
- Fast liquid intake: The perforations allow fluid to pass through quickly, reducing surface wetness.
- Dry feel: Helps keep the surface relatively dry after absorption, improving comfort during extended use.
- Skin-friendly: Smooth and soft texture reduces friction and irritation.
- Breathability: Micropores support airflow, which helps reduce heat and discomfort.
- Low linting: Maintains a clean surface without fiber shedding.
•Transfer Layer: Double-Layer Tissue
This layer sits between the top sheet and the absorbent core and performs the following functions:
- Rapid fluid transfer: Moves liquid away from the surface into the core quickly.
- Even distribution: Spreads fluid across a wider area, preventing localized saturation.
- Reduced leakage risk: Helps avoid pooling, which is a common cause of overflow.
- Structural support: Maintains pad shape when wet.
- Lightweight efficiency: Adds performance without increasing bulk.
• Absorbent Core: Cellulose-Based Pulp
This is the main absorption engine of the pad and it is responsible for:
- High absorbency: Cellulose fibers can hold significant fluid relative to their weight.
- Fluid retention: Locks in moisture to reduce backflow to the surface.
- Natural material base: Derived from wood pulp, making it widely accepted and safe for hygiene use.
- Consistent performance: Reliable absorption across different flow levels.
- Cost-effective: Balances performance and affordability, keeping products accessible.
•Adhesive: Hot Melt Glue

- Flexible hold: Maintains adhesion without making the pad rigid.
- Secure positioning: Ensures the pad stays in place on underwear.
- Quick setting: Efficient manufacturing with stable results.
- Durability: Performs well under body heat and pressure.
•Bottom Layer: Polyethylene (PE) Film
This is the outermost layer facing the underwear and it ensures the following:
- Leak-proof protection: Prevents fluid from passing through to clothing.
- Thin but strong: Provides protection without adding bulk.
- Flexible: Moves with the body for better comfort.
- Barrier integrity: Maintains performance even under pressure.
- Discreet use: Often designed to be quiet and unobtrusive.
•Release Paper: Silicone-Coated Paper
