Why we care
Malaria remains one of the most pressing public health challenges across Africa. According to the World Health Organization: Over 95% of global malaria cases and deaths occur in Africa. In 2023 alone, over 240 million malaria cases were recorded on the continent. Children under five account for approximately 80% of all malaria deaths in sub-Saharan Africa. Nigeria alone contributes to over 27% of the global malaria burden. This staggering impact is not just a health crisis—it is an economic and social one. Families are disrupted, productivity is lost, and healthcare systems remain overburdened.
Our Motivation
The fight against malaria—and other preventable or treatable diseases—fuels our passion and purpose. We established our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations to provide cost-effective, locally produced medicines that can directly combat this burden. Import reliance, inflated drug prices, and supply chain delays have for too long limited access to lifesaving medications. By investing in local production, we aim to: Reduce the cost of essential anti-malarial drugs. Improve availability of high-quality treatments across Nigeria and West Africa. Strengthen health systems through sustainable pharmaceutical infrastructure. Empower communities by creating jobs and building regional capacity.
